ROWDY RATHORE SHATTERED BOX OFFICE: 3RD BIGGEST OPENING EVER

Khiladi Kumar is back with a bang as Rowdy Rathore. Prabhu Deva‘s Akshay-Sonakshi starrer has opened to a thunderous response at the BO. The film that has got mostly positive reviews from critics has garnered Rs. 15.10 cr (approx) on Friday.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film has been instrumental in proving beyond doubt that as far as the audience is concerned – as long as there is masala – nothing else matters. The film has garnered Rs. 15.10 crores on its opening day itself, and has resulted in an avalanche of good wishes and congratulatory messages for Akshay Kumar from all across the country and abroad.

#RowdyRathore is the third biggest opener ever, after #Agneepath and #Bodyguard. Incidentally, all three films are remakes!” Trade expert Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter page.

“#RowdyRathore *India* Fri 15.10 cr nett. Biggest non-holiday Friday opener. O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G!” He adds.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta thinks the film has the potential to cross 100 crore. “Straight B-L-O-C-K-B-U-S-T-E-R! That’s what Rowdy Rathore is!! Next 100-crore film? All chances!” Writes Nahta on his Twitter page.
