Love marriage Vs Arranged marriage is a point of view on which India has always agreed to disagree. Everybody has a point of view on the subject and Sony Entertainment Television (SET) with their latest fiction show ‘Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage’ takes this argument forward and looks at this concept through the story of two best friends, the principle protagonists who are polar opposites in their attitudes and belief and have a definite point of view on the subject. Introducing Mansi (Samaira Rao) - who will marry whoever her parents choose for her and Shivani (Rishika Mihani) - who only believes in love marriage. Produced by Sphere Origins Multivision Pvt. Ltd and written by acclaimed Bollywood writer Kamlesh Pandey the show traces the journey of these two friends who are diametrically opposite in their beliefs about marriage, yet share the same desire to have a happy and content marriage. The debate is on and as the story evolves perhaps along with the two friends, the country will also get an answer.

Set against the backdrop of modern day Udaipur, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage explores the debate between love marriages and arranged marriages without taking either side. The show highlights the pros and cons of both schools of thought through the lives of these two young women. Conservative by nature, Mansi maintains that she will marry the man that her parents choose for her. She feels that marriage is not just the union of two people but unison between two families who abide by the same values and beliefs. She thoroughly believes in and loves the idea of an Arranged Marriage. Shivani on the other hand, is the antithesis of Mansi. Carefree and aggressive, boys look up to her as their buddy. She desires a picture perfect romance where her prince shall come and sweep her off her feet and take her to a land never seen before – the land of love. She feels that after a considerate phase of companionship, togetherness and understanding, a couple should exchange vows. She believes in the idea of ‘Love Marriage’.

The cast also includes the charming and suave Ashish Kappor of Dekha Ek Khwab fame and Himanshu Malhotra along with veteran actors like Raju Kher, Jyoti Gauba, Harsh Khuranna, Puneet Tejwani amongst several others who ably support the cast.

Riteish Deshmukh along with his super kool partner Tusshar Kapoor visited the sets of Indian Idol 6 for a fun filled episode. After all the performances were over, Riteish requested judge Asha Bhosle to join him on stage for a small jugalbandi round. Ashaji obliged and joined him on stage for a Marathi Jugalbandi. Kya Supercool Hain Hum...

The title of this movie should have been "Kya Super Fool Hain Hum"! The movie which is inspired by the first part takes off with the two heroes Tusshar and Ritesh as buddies who are down on luck. Ritesh is a DJ who manages to land in a soup everytime he goes DJing and Tusshar makes a living out of doing down market ads. The two female leads are also friends, with Sarah Jane Dias being an upcoming model and her friend Neha is a fun loving girl.



These foursome are the main leads and how they get together is the main plot of the movie. The film is laced with sexual innuendos and jokes that revolves around body parts, complexion and you guessed it right - Gays! The jokes are dished out at the audience in almost every scene and the scriptwriters have done a lot of research on the internet, in college canteens and in toilets! Yes, there are a few jokes that you may have seen on toilet walls!

Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Wedding Date Fixed For October 16 2012

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor To Marry on October 16 2012: In the first official confirmation from the family, Saif Ali Khan’s mother, Sharmila Tagore has confirmed her son’s marriage to actor Kareena Kapoor on October 16. “Yes, that’s the date we have decided upon. There will be a reception, too, but not a very big one.” The wedding ceremony, said close sources, will be a quiet affair, too.

Sources close to Tagore said that Kapoor, like her would be mother-in-law, will continue acting in films. “Sharmila’s best innings as an actress started after marriage. Saif was a baby on the sets of one of her best films, Aradhana. Kareena will follow in her footsteps. After marriage, she will do two films a year. Right after she completes Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, she’ll begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela,” said the source.

In fact, Kapoor has assured a very worried Bhansali that she will not take a break for her wedding.

The wedding, which will be held at the Pataudis’ ancestral home, will only be attended by immediate family members of the couple.

Says the source, “Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi died only recently, so the family wanted a low-key wedding. Kareena and her family agreed, too. However, there may be a large reception bash after the wedding, considering both Saif and Kareena have many friends in the film industry.”

The venue for the wedding reception is still undecided. It may be held in Mumbai on the wedding day itself.

Says the source, “The honeymoon, however, will have to wait. Kareena has no intentions of letting her films suffer after marriage.”

First Week-end Box Office Collections of Rowdy Rathore

Rowdy Rathore has set the box office on fire with collections of around 48 crore nett in its first weekend. It is the biggest opening weekend of the year so far.

Rowdy Rathore had a bumper 95-100% box office opening on friday at single screens while multiplexes were around 60-70%. With places that did not take a bumper opening on Friday, business picked up on Saturday and grew further on Sunday. The film has done excellent business all over

Rowdy Rathore has rocked the nation on Sunday at single screens and multiplexes and may go on to be the highest grossing film of 2012.

The first weekend business of Rowdy Rathore is around 48 crore nett range It has emerged as the fourth biggest opening of all time, behind Ra.One (2011) - 52.93 crore, Bodyguard (2011) - 52.62 crore and Dabangg (2010) - 48.82 crore.

Monday Box Office Report of Rowdy Rathore

Rowdy Rathore was rock solid on Monday as it collected around 9 crore nett. The collections are less than Dabangg and Three Idiots which went over 10 crore nett on Monday but the Monday collections of Rowdy Rathore is the biggest of 2012 comfortably beating the figures of Agneepath and Housefull 2.

The single screen numbers for Rowdy Rathore are on par with Dabangg with the difference in the two films being at multiplexes where Dabangg had better collections.

Rowdy Rathore has now collected 56 crore nett plus in four days and is heading for a first week of around 75 crore nett. In Bihar it is looking to emerge the biggest or second biggest hit of all time.

Esha Deol Wedding Pictures With Bharat Takhtani

Esha Deol tied the knot with Bharat Takhtani in a South Indian style wedding ceremony at Iskon temple this morning (29th June 2012). Esha looked pretty in a red bridal sari by designer Neeta Lulla. Takhtani was clad in a white sherwani, also designed by Neeta.

The wedding ceremony was a private affair. "We want the wedding to be a comparatively private affair with relatives and close friends from both sides in attendance.
